04/03/2003 Archived Entry: "WebStandards.TO Meet Up"
I've got photos up of the WebStandards.TO meet up that happened this evening. Craig Saila, Rudy Limeback, Joe Clark, Suzanne Long, James Eberhardt, and Luke Tymowski were all there. Oh yah, and me too. It wasn't as big a turn out as the Montreal meet up - but there was no beer to attract and an ice storm to deter - so I think we did okay. More people will come next time.

Jason, if you're going to say everything eight times at the next meeting, please reconsider.
And we were *not* boring.

I'd have a hard time convincing my better half that a night spent with strangers discussing boring web stuff would be more titillating than her company and home-cooked meals, but count me in for the next meeting.

Good day from w3quebec, formerly known as webstandards.meetup in Montreal. We are following the developement of your group with real interest and would be very happy to meet once in a while with you all to maybe lead projects together. We could meet halfway (Ottawa) for a meeting eventually. It would be nice to join our energies on some projects since we're fighting the same battles.
