Whooo hooo! It's fabulous and I love it, but I'm also so tired of writing and editing and editing and arguing. I'm very glad it's finished. I hope it's helpful and relevant still. What am I on about...
Well... MACCAWS has finally published the Web standards white paper and primer. I've worked on it for almost 2 years and after a lot of heartache it's finally being published. Thanks to Steph and Becky and all the other people that worked on it over time.

A brief non-technical explanation of Web standards for Web site owners and managers. This article explains the benefits of Web standards, how they work, and how to begin implementing them.

Even though Web standards are being embraced by many Web authors, some businesses are reluctant to invest in standards-based Web sites without concrete reasons to do so. To help Web authors interested in advocating Web standards, this article assembles arguments and information about Web standards into one document and explains Web standards in terms of how they affect business.
